Element chapter 4     Finally. It was over. It was a week after the birth when I looked down at my five cubs suckling. Licking their tiny heads, I realized that now we really had a pack. Growling happily, I thanked Sal and Ray for letting all my cubs live. I heard that the males had gone hunting last night, and now it was morning.  
     "Ora! Kia!" I called them and as they nervously came up, they saw the little cubs and yipped with delight.  
     "Lio and Amber's blessing!" they cried, wagging their tails. I watched the joy in their eyes.

Element chapter 3I laid down on the floor next to Khan. His tired eyes looked at me, and I grinned.  
     "I told myself I would never mate. I was stupid." I told him       "Well, you have and you were amazing." he replied kindly. I suddenly remembered our courting - the fight before we mated. His eyes had been full of determination. During that fight I had lashed out with my claws and scratched him. Not deep of course, but I suddenly felt bad for it.

Element chapter 2We took the two wolves into our little 'family'. Actually, it was now a pack, except for the fact that there was no Alpha. It was late January, and the wolves were becoming tense, for without any Alpha no wolves had a right to mate. Although Tren and Kia were mated, they had not had a litter. As we sat next to each other, talking about who should be the leaders of the pack, I suddenly felt that because I was the daughter of the Alpha of my old pack, I deserve to be the Alpha of this one.  
     "You know, because me and Tren are the only mates here, I think we should be the Alphas." growled Kia. My calm face sudd Element chapter 2
